Walk 10 - Leith Hill Revisited

SATURDAY 6TH MAY 2006

STRIDING SUMMARY

Route:From Kingston to Box Hill, onwards to Leith Hill, then left towards Holmswood, where apparently the last train leaves at 6.30......

Distance: 50km

Nightstriders present: Aimee, Ben, Ian

Weather:Rather sunny, then wet, then wetter, then dry - but by then the damage had been done!

Synopsis: The combination of Ben only just making it through his start of summer ritual (see walk 9) and the trains being up the spout (another demonstartion of the heartless nature of capitalism represented by privatisation) a new route was called for, a route that was new, exciting, thought provoking, intellectually stimulating........... some may say it looks like 2 previous walks cobbled together by a big hill. Some would be right! Oh well, at least it wouldn't rain........
