Er, we did it!

What was it all about?
A sponsored adventure and a test of endurance, stamina and friendship stretching from Farnham Castle all the way to the shores of lovely Portsmouth, 'Nightstrider - the final hurdle' took place on the weekend of 22nd - 23rd July 2006! Click here to discover how an earth this thing came about...
Who took part?
From January through to July, it was a team of awesome, rambling people with one shared mission: to stride through the (day or) night! Aimee, Ali, Amy, Anna C, Anna F, Beck, Ben, Gemma, Geoff, Heidi, Helen, Ian, Ian, Isobel, Jenny, Judith, Kate A, Kate H, Katherine, Lucy, Madeleine, Martha, Nick, Rupes, Sarah S, Sarah G, Shubi, Snoopy, Susan, Syeda and Tom stepped up to the plate and sampled the Team Nightstrider fun! Click here to see what you've been missing!
What's it all for?
In short, to raise money to help Burmese refugees on the Thai-Burma border learn new skills, gain an education and claim their human rights - through three fantastic projects run by refugees themselves. Our team target is £5000.00 - click here to see just how far this will go and why it's so important. And click here to sponsor us now! And - stop the press, hold your horses - today we've reached our target (but that's no reason not to sponsor!)! Hooray for all our sponsors to date!
Just how did you manage it?
With lots of training! Click here for photos and stories from all our lovely training walks, which happened every other weekend all the way from January to July! Each one was a bit longer than the last, a sterner test of the but-tocks and a meaner blister-popping examination of this Nightstider team! 6 months of wholesome adventuring indeed!
